  • Participation to the activities of the new established Institute for the Advanced Study of Levantine Culture and Civilization, in Bucharest, headed by Emil Constantinescu, former President of Romania, under the auspices of the World Academy of Art and Science (2017).

 

  • She has served as organization administrator, general secretary, chairman, session organizer and paper presenter in over a hundred conferences worldwide (France, England, Germany, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, Spain, Austria, Romania, Bulgaria and Poland), America (USA, Mexico), Asia (China) and Africa (Tunisia). She participated in bilateral collaboration programs with the University of Lund, University of Erlangen-Nuremberg, University Louis Pasteur Strasbourg, University of Bucharest, University “Federico II” of Napoli.

 

  • She has published over a hundred articles mainly in scholarly journals with over than 400 citations. Her interests, apart from Geosciences, include Geoarcheology (Neolithic Ceramics, Prehistory of Attica, Study of Ancient Building Stones). Reviewer to Peer-Reviewed Journals (Springer, Elsevier Editions et al.).

 

From 1996 until today has taught Undergraduate and Postgraduate courses at the Department of Geology and Geoenvironment of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Supervised 3 Ph.D. and has served as Member of Committees for a great number of Ph. D and MS.c Theses.  Member of Committees for Elections of Academic Staff.
